Lemonade Pie has the reputation of being a Southern classic tradition, particularly during the hot, balmy days of summer. Just about everyone’s Grandmother served an icebox pie at some point during the summer and this recipe is no different!  Thank my grandma for this beauty!


On a hot summer day this frozen lemonade pie is just what is needed. This pie is creamy, tart and full of lemony flavor. Seriously y’all this is so refreshing, super delicious, and awesomely creamy dessert.  And the bonus? It is so easy to make that my daughter Emma can make it!  I know she is 16 years old – she should be able to cook….well, let me tell you she better marry well because he won’t love her for her cooking skills!

Frozen Lemonade Pie – it’s like sunshine locked into a pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 14- ounce can sweetened condensed milk chilled
  • 1 12- ounce container whipped topping thawed
  • 1 6- fluid-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate unthawed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping; fold the two together gently until combined, being careful to keep the mixture light and fluffy.
  2. Add the lemonade concentrate and continue to gently fold; be sure to avoid letting the mixture get too liquid-y.
  3. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle with a little lemon zest.
  5. Place in the freezer to chill overnight.
  6. Serve.
