Announcing My New Venture as a Travel Planner!

I apologize if things have been a bit quiet on They Call Me Mama D this past week. I’ve been very busy training! For what, you ask? The Un-Iron Man? A dog mom training contest? Ninja Mom Warrior Contest?

I’m excited to announce I’m adding a new title alongside that of blogger, travel scout, be-all-do-all family controller and couch hog:

I’m anxious, excited, nervous and filled with all self-doubt and can-do feelings that come with plunging head-first into new territory. Then again, it’s not completely new or out-of-the-blue. This idea has been in my mind for a while (be it pushed back into the far corners of maybe somedays), but my hands have always been too full to consider it.

I am always getting requests from people, friends, family, co-workers, looking for personalized help planning a vacation.  While some of us thrive on the hunt of a vacation deal, the planning of the tiniest of details, and the thrill of the unknown, it’s become clear to me that tons of people still enjoy the hands-on support of a travel agent who’s already done the research and leg work on their behalf.

So…if you want to stay-up-to-date on the deals, services and vacation packages I can offer as a travel agent, I invite you to like my travel agent Facebook page: Your Destination To Everywhere.

If you want to know more about what I can offer as a travel agent, read on for some quick facts about Your Destination To Everywhere:

Destinations: Disney, Universal, Apple Vacations ,  Sandals Resorts, Sea World, Atlantis,  and a variety of cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean

As the name hints, the agency I contract with specializes in destinations to everywhere, which fits perfectly, as I just love to travel to any and all destinations. Hopefully, I’ll be adding a Disney Cruise to my personal travel itinerary in the near future!

HOWEVER as much as I adore Disney, it is not the sole focus of my services as the travel agent.  I am looking forward to helping families, friends, couples and clients of all ages pursue a variety of destinations, including:

  • Disneyland
  • Universal Studios
  • Apple Vacations
  • Sandals Resorts
  • Sea World
  • Atlantis
  • and a variety of cruises, including Royal Caribbean.

So let’s just get this question out of the way: how much will my services cost you?

Nothing. They are free with a vacation booking.

What that means is if you decide you want me to help plan your vacation, make recommendations, secure great discounts/sales on your behalf, answer your questions, handle a number of details that might otherwise overwhelm you, you simply book your trip through Your Destination To Everywhere.

Again, there are no extra costs or hidden fees over going it alone.

How is this possible, you ask? After you book your trip with me, the vendor takes care of my fees, so you’re only paying the same price you would if you were just poking around on the internet on your own.  Vendors know that having a travel agent takes some burden off of their customer service hotline and empowers their clients to have the best possible vacation.

And to clarify, there is no commitment needed,  simply request a vacation price quote and I will see if I can fid a trip that meets your vacation needs.

Then,  when you decide you’re ready to book with me, you’ll have the added benefit of knowing you have a familiar face in your corner…an experienced, passionate, kinda wacky, sometime crass, travel planner and vacation advocate that doesn’t use automated phone prompts to put you on hold to torturous elevator musik only to be transferred 20 times and then be disconnected an hour later.

Rest assured, my blog, They Call Me Mama D, will continue to share all sorts of travel deals, money-saving tips, itineraries and stories of my adventures.  The only overlap between They Call Me Mama D and Your Destination To Everywhere will be when I share some of my super awesome travel sales.

Don’t forget to like/follow They Call Me Mama D on Facebook to follow my cooking, DIY and travel adventures.  And of course, make sure to check out my new travel planner page for travel sales and exciting destination updates, Your Destination To Everywhere.
