Potty Training Time
As you may notice today’s post is late. I know, I feel like a major slacker but seriously I am exhausted. It’s been years since I have had little ones in my home; Miss Emma is 16 years old and she is my “baby”; well not anymore! Now True is the baby of the house and let me tell you, she is the equivalent of a 2-year-old!
I am in full blown “no-no” and potty training mode. Literally, at 5 AM you will find me outside in my bathrobe, hair thrown into a messy bun on top of my head, glasses on (and I am sure they are crooked), telling True to “go potty outside”, while trying to keep her from playing tug-o-war with my bathrobe, and then doing the high pitched and spazzy “yay! Potty outside!” song and dance; only to then come inside and clean up the “potty” which she finishes as soon as we walk back inside.
Yeah, fun times! And then there’s the teeth! Nothing is safe-NOTHING! Literally, cords, shoes, toes, fingers, legs, other small animals; all of it has been chewed on…everything! But I must say she has grown on me.
That’s where this Good Morning Smoothie comes in.
I need something that I can grab and go as I chase her around the house. So, I came up with a smoothie. I am not a big fan of smoothies because well, let’s be honest, the thought of kale or anything green for that matter, blended up into a smoothie just isn’t appetizing in my eyes; in fact, to me it’s just gross!
A smoothie, in my opinion, should be a fun color, like pinks and purples, something that screams fruity goodness. My Good Morning Smoothie is a simple homemade smoothie that my entire family loves. It’s easy, simple and made of 4 ingredients that you probably already have on hand. If you love a great fruit smoothie or just need something to jump start your day, you definitely need to try this Good Morning Smoothie.

Good Morning Smoothie
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup Greek vanilla yogurt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 ½ cup strawberries
Place all ingredients into blender.
Blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!
